ArtCenter offers three types of study abroad programs: faculty-led programs, direct exchange programs with partner institutions, and individualized programs through third-party providers. Below is a brief overview of each program type.

ARTCENTER FACULTY-LED PROGRAMS
Designed specifically for ArtCenter students, these programs are hosted by an ArtCenter department(s) and led by ArtCenter faculty. The programs are short experiences and are often open to students from all majors. Students earn 3-6 credits for these programs and are away for 1-2 weeks during the break weeks. Students maintain their financial aid package, pay ArtCenter tuition, and pay a program fee that varies in cost.
ARTCENTER EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Spend a term at one of ArtCenter’s partner institutions around the world! Earn up to 15 transfer credits. You will pay ArtCenter tuition for the term and maintain your financial aid package as eligible. Housing and other expenses are additional.
INDIVIDUALIZED Study Abroad PROGRAMS
This external program type allows you to study abroad and transfer credit to ArtCenter to fulfill major and/or H&S requirements with approval. You may also use state/federal aid if you are eligible through FAFSA.
